Ronald is an Expert Researcher Phytopathology at Enza Zaden in the Netherlands. He obtained his MS degree in Plant sciences with emphasis on Phytopathology and Entomology at Wageningen University in the Netherlands. Immediately after his graduation he moved to Enza Zaden in 2005 where he has been working on development of disease resistance protocols and diagnosis of plant diseases. More recently he is active as member of the ISF Expert Group on Disease Resistance and Terminology and Euroseeds Working Group Harmonization resistance Terminology.
